With a voice that aspires to be playful with prose, and stimulating imagery, Jack James Dixon's writing and storytelling explores horror, psychological and supernatural themes. His unexpected humour also looks to capture humanity at its most vulnerable...

Having been involved in theatre performance since childhood, he has absorbed precious knowledge and experience from surrounding talent ever since. From a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Truro College, to other theatre work all over Cornwall.

Finding his way at Falmouth University towards studying the BA Film, pursuing screenwriting in particular forged the tools for Jack to develop his visual storytelling, especially as a writer.

After graduating with a BA, he continued studying at Falmouth University on the MA Professional Writing course, which further developed his narrative voice and an understanding of the world of writing.
